Beloved actor, comedian and musician Adam Sandler is hitting the road next month.
The 57-year-old announced The I Missed You Tour earlier this week, which will see him travel around North America for 25 shows over two months.
There are only two Canadian dates, but one of them is right here in British Columbia, as he’ll kick off the tour at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Thursday, Oct. 12.
BC fans of Sandler who can’t make that date could also theoretically drive to see him in Seattle the next night, Friday, Oct. 13, or in Spokane on Monday, Oct. 16.
Sandler announced the tour with a video on social media and a simple message of “let’s have some fun,” and that’s exactly what you can expect to have at one of his shows.
He’s become one of the most well-known comedians of all time, although mostly for his work on the big screen, but the man still simply loves to make people laugh when he’s on stage.
Sandler will blend a mix of classic stand up with some musical numbers that typically have an audience belly laughing throughout the duration of the show.
He’s a one of a kind act and British Columbians will have a chance to witness that in person next month, along with a promised surprise guest.
Tickets for The I Missed You Tour go on sale today at noon through Live Nation.
